The aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign pseudotumor that often arises off the center of long bones metaphysis and which as it grows can blow out bone. most widespread etiopathogenic theory reaction process to venous malformation but neoplastic currently being discussed since discovery translocation t (16; 17) (q22; p13) recurrent in primary cysts. We report here case 26-year-old patient without medical history, who consults for pain right knee with partial functional impairment. radiological assessment showed an osteolytic mirror image at metaphyseal level lower end femur upper tibia thinned cortices exposing high risk fracture (Figure 1). A biopsy made confirms diagnosis cyst. underwent curettage grafting.
